Port Adelaide District Hockey Club is seeking expressions of interest for an experienced, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Metro 1 Women’s Coach.

Port Adelaide District Hockey Club is one of the largest hockey clubs in the Adelaide Metro Competition, we are passionate about our sport and our community. We are enthusiastic about creating a culture that is inclusive, values-led, and socially and community focussed.

Our Metro 1 Women’s team is dedicated and hardworking, and ultimately a great bunch. They have had a great deal of success over the last ~15 years that they are striving to continue on.

The successful applicants will:

• Support the club’s values and initiatives
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have knowledge and enthusiasm with both technical hockey and player management skills
• Have or be working towards a Level 1 or Level 2 coaching qualification

The Metro 1 Women’s Coach will also play a leadership role working with our other coaches, our committee and the juniors section to continue to focus on individual player development and enhance the transition program from Juniors to Seniors.

Remuneration is dependent on role, experience and is to be negotiated between the Committee and appointee.

Your expression of Interest should include:

• A cover letter (not more than 2 pages), outlining your interest in the role, your current and/or recent coaching experience and what you will bring to the role
• A Hockey CV, outlining your experiences and qualifications
• The details of 2 Referees
