As a community sporting organisation, we cannot thrive without the consistent efforts of dedicated volunteers. Our programs, teams, facilities and events cannot be maintained without the help of our community. Support the club the supports you and volunteer your time this season. Many hands make light work!
Coaching & Managing
Extend your hockey experience and give back to the club through coaching and/or managing.
PADHC aims to have an assigned coach and manager for all teams, across junior and senior divisions. The commitment is typically one training and one game per week.
PADHC recognise the importance of quality coaches and provide financial compensation for such commitments, in the form of reduced or complimentary match fees.
UMPIRING
In 2025 PADHC improved how club umpiring commitments are managed.
A special levy is added to membership fees to compensate for umpiring costs. Umpiring allocations are distributed to a qualified PADHC umpiring pool.
We aim to provide free training and development for Level 1 umpires, adequate reimbursement, and overall improve the quality and confidence of PADHC supplied officials.
FACILITIES
PADHC's pitch and surrounds have been completely remodelled in 2026, including new lighting, fencing, landscaping and a brand new Polytan playing surface.
Combined with our clubroom renovation in 2024, our premier facilities allow us to welcome local, state and national events with ease.
We're looking for volunteers to support a range of odd jobs and maintenance activities around the clubrooms and grounds. These are managed in the Heja app. If you are able to donate your time occasionally (both mid-week and weekends), please join our Heja team.
SOCIAL PIES
With a passionate and involved member base, it's no wonder that PADHC has a history of hosting fantastic club functions and events.
Our Social Pies team organise a variety of different events throughout the year, including Black & White Day, our primary club home day.
A highlight of the year is always the PADHC Annual Dinner, which is our senior presentation night and formal celebration of the season's success.
Our Social Pies team has an open invite for new committee members.
